An annual Minerva tradition begins. For one weekend each spring, members will escape the city and gather at one of Britain’s most prestigious country estates for a weekend of elegance, leisure and connection.

This March, we take over Cowdray House - an exclusive-use stately home set within 16,000 acres of countryside. Yes, all of it will be ours. With its sweeping reception rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and 22 luxurious en-suite bedrooms (plus two additional single rooms), the estate becomes ours alone for three unforgettable days.

Friday

• Meet at The Ritz London for a pre-departure champagne drink.
• Private coach transfer directly from The Ritz to Cowdray House.
• Arrival & room check-in.
• Welcome Drinks Reception at Cowdray House.
• Three-course Dinner with wine, followed by fireside conversation.

Saturday

• Full English breakfast.
• Morning Activities – choose one included experience: polo lesson, horse riding, golf, or clay pigeon shooting.
• Optional: book additional activities directly with the estate.
• Light lunch at the house.
• Afternoon leisure: explore the grounds, swim, or unwind in the estate lounges.
• Gala Dinner & Party – a formal evening celebration with champagne and dancing.

Sunday

• Leisurely breakfast.
• Farewell reflections.
• Coach transfer back to London (arriving early afternoon).

• Two nights’ exclusive use of Cowdray House (22 en-suite doubles + 2 singles, each guest has their own private room).

Payment Structure

Total Cost: £2,300 per member

• Deposit: £1,150 — due 30 September 2025 (secures your place).
• Balance: £1,150 — split into three instalments at the end of October, November and December.
• Final adjustment (if needed for extras) due January 2026 ie. you want to participate in another activity

Spaces: 21 members maximum (private rooms only).

Refund & Transfer Policy

• Retreat payments are non-refundable.
• However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another Minerva member up to 30 days before the retreat.
• The incoming member must agree to cover all payments made up to the transfer date (e.g. if £2,000 has already been paid in instalments, they must pay £2,000 immediately upon transfer).
• Once the transfer is confirmed, your payments will be refunded in full within 7–10 business days.
• Transfers less than 30 days before the retreat cannot be accommodated.
• Deposit is only partially refundable (50%)
